Visually dazzling and emotionally resonant, Slumdog Millionaire is a film that’s both entertaining and powerful.

First Golden Globe now 10 nominations for Oscar. This film is really going to write history.

The movie is about hope, destiny, love and has magnificently captured the mystique of Mumbai. It’s amazing how Danny Boyle was able to capture the pulse, the chaos, the contradictions, the beauty, the mess, the color and the promise called India.

The movie covers the life long relationship between three childhood friends struggling to get out of the Mumbai slums. The film has very well packaged everything one would like to see in a good movie; love, adventure, emotion, drama, comedy, and timeless beauty of India all over. The scenes of violence are well done and has powerful value.

The hero despite being brought up amongst poverty, violence, child abuse and rape, is able to remain pure. He doesn’t go for the millionaire show for money, he goes there hoping that her childhood love will see him. He wants to answer as many questions as possible because that means more time on the show, thus increasing the chances being seen by his love.

Slumdog Millionaire attempts to deliver a simple message: triumph of the human spirit, integrity and karma.

In short: excellent job done by all.
