Justin Lin’s newest addition to the Fast and Furious series has proved to excite the general audience far more than the earlier movies. Fast and furious 4, with Vin Diesel back in action, and a fast paced and intriguing plot, has out done the previous movies of the Fast and Furious series.
Justin Lin has managed to grip the audience with breathtaking cars, races and action sequences woven into a rather interesting plot.
Brian O’Conner(Paul walker), gangster turned FBI agent, teams up with Dominic Toretto (Vin Deisel) to bring down a heroin importer by infiltrating his operation.
The movie starts with Dominic Toretto, who is now an international criminal, leaving his girlfriend (Letty) to protect her from what lies ahead of him. But she is killed in, what the police say, is a run of the mill car accident. However, when Dominic visits the crime scene he discovers traces that lead him to believe that it was not just an accident but a cold blooded murder. Meanwhile, Brian is trying to round up a certain heroin importer by infiltrating into his organisation. When old friends Brian and Dominic realise that they after the same guy for reasons of their own, they decide to join hands once again and bring the bad guys down.
Braga, who is actually the boss, disillusions Dominic, Brian and the FBI by making another person seem as the boss through the first half of the movie. Brian and Dominic realise this while negotiate with the man who is posing to be Braga.
The real Braga is nailed at the end of the movie. Even though Brian tries to appeal for Dominic’s bail, Dominic is sentenced to life in prison.
To sum it up, I would say that it’s a complete entertainer and a must watch for all sports cars freaks.
